Translations

I have already done it but I am still using it in order to find if there are any mistakes or confusing translations I made. I was planning to upload it after a few days but it would be better if another person checks them, so I'm adding the translation file to this message. You should install Qt Linguist in order to edit it easily, but you can also use a text editor if you know how to edit.

My real name is Doğu Kocatepe. I could not check my translation again after I had sent it. I have been working on transfering digital data from simulation to physical GPIO pins on Raspberry Pi 4. (I edited and compiled the latest source code from Launchpad on 64 bit Raspbian) Blinking four LEDs worked (The data was from the output of the Arduino in simulation.), but I2C modules are not working yet. If I can make them working, it will be possible to use Raspberry Pi as AVR, PIC or any digital circuit using SimulIDE. (with some disadvantages) I will create a thread if I can finish it. This is not the correct thread.

That is no problem, this version will receive fixes for a few months, then it will released as definitive "stable" version.
So you still have a lot of time to check and fix any possible problems.

Opening a thread could be a good idea even before you get it working.

The following properties are not included in ts file:

Oscope: Basic X, Basic Y
Logic Analizer: Basic X, Basic Y
Wave Gen: Always On
Variable Resistor: Dial Step
LDR: Dial step, Min Lux, Max Lux, Lux, Gamma, R1
Termistor: Dial step, Min Temp, Max Temp, B, R25
RTD: Dial step, Min Temp, Max Temp, Temp, R0
SSD1306: colors are not included in translation
Tunnel: Name, Rotated
Package: Background, SubcType
Circuit: Speed per, Speed sps, Simu step ns, names of individual languages
All: itemtype, true, false

The title of the window About SimulIDE is Dialog instead of About SimulIDE

Text labels of Oscope and Logic Analizer are not included in translation.

New subcircuits, Keys, Ternary logic and USSR_IC from component list are not included in translation.

There are some general texts Dialog, Form and TexlLabel in translation.

The messages "No Compiler available for: %1 files" and "Replaced %1 occurrence(s)" could also have plural translation (add third parameter to tr() ).

I am not able to translate component categories Arduino, New Arduinos, Shields and Tools because it changes the tree structure of components, see attached screenshot. Probably there is some bug.

Yes, there are some problems with these components:
- Experimental Arduinos and Shields will not be in the relesase to avoid confusion.

- I did some changes to translations and position of ICs and other subcircuits.
Added some Czech translations to test it, but you should review it.

Hello, I wanted to update czech translation for simulide 1.0.0-RC1, but it seems to be some problems here. A lot of text are not translated even they are in the qm file, for example "Rectangle". I ran command lupdate to update ts file and I received a lot of messages that there are missing macros Q_OBJECT in a lot of classes. Probaly it is needed for functional translation.

I don't have this problem with Qt 5.9.5, but I will find a solution.

Anyway translated texts in this version can still change quite a bit.
That's why I haven't uploaded ts files yet.

I tried some simple aproaches to avoid adding the Q_OBJECT macro, but the the context is lost.

By now I added the Q_OBJECT macro back (most of them) at Rev 768.
Note that I reuploaded ts files for 1.0.0 right now (first post in this thread).

Btw: I was getting the Q_OBJECT missing warning, but i didn't see them.

The fields for attachment are missing in the fast reply mode.
But if you click "Preview" you get into "normal" reply mode.

During checking translation I found out that many units of properties are not included in translation. For example:

I also propose replace translation of words with singular and plural form by one universal form. Then it is possible to translate signular and plural version separately.
For example in find function it is possible replace

Then it is possible translate singular and plural form separately. For exmample in English the translated text might be

In Czech translation it might be

I found some bugs in english wording of Simulide 1.0.0:

It was a problem with categories in xml files.
It is at least solved at trunk Rev 1049.
But I stilll have to check everything and probably update some file.
