Crash loading PIC firmware

Context: Ubuntu 22.04. SimulIDE 0.1.7

I have a problem, a push the PIC 18F2550 model into the circuit, then, I attempt to load an hex file. Software crashes after that, windows suddenly close, and not changes are saved.

My circuit is very simple, perhaps I'm missing something:

Version 0.1.7 is quite old. Better try a more recent version.
Check in "Downloads" section at the top of this page.

I thought 0.1.7 was the latest, because is what I get when I run:

Ok, i just bought the latest version 1.0.0.
And... model 18f2550 is not found. There is not 18f models in newer IDE.

Sorry I didn't pay attention to the model of that PIC.
Version 0.4.15 has 18F and is much recent tham 0.1.7.

No, in Ubuntu there is only that version.

Changed to 0.4.15 version.
I was able to find the 18F model, load hex file, and run simulation.
