When Serial Port is flipped, its pin names are ok, but the orientation of its button is wrong, as the image below:

This patch tries to fix this. The following image is the result:

I might be a little obsessive-compulsive disordered. But I'm really uncomfortable with the flipped text Crying or Very sad

Yes. If arcachofo agreed, it can also be fixed. Smile

Fine, this is logical, hi is the boss... but hi has this old action pending in red:

So Arcachofo, now that you have a good, recognized and admired assistant, take advantage of it to improve these little things too... that hurt your eyes in this great application.

Great, patch applied at Rev 1952.

WELL, WHEN YOU'RE ABOUT, THIS SAME HAPPENS TO BUTTONS AND SWITCHES...
Currently text in button is corrected with component rotation by your request:
https://simulide.forumotion.com/t1493-t1737-rotate-letter#6461

But is not flipped to allow cases like this:
https://simulide.forumotion.com/t1493-t1737-rotate-letter#6959

Maybe it should be done the other way:
Text corrected when flipped but not corrected when rotated.

And please don't use caps that way, is seems like you are shouting, and I'm sure that was not your intention.

Caps was accidental, sorry.

In my opinion, both cases were solved at the same time if the letters could be rotated manually within the key, without any kind of automation, how do you see it?

Sorry but I have another question relating the switch key:

I'm used to use upper case leter like 'Ctrl+P' when define the shortcut,
while use lower case to trigger it.

But in simulide , 'P' and 'p' are treated as two different shortcut.

Any plan to change this?

Yes, that is something to do.

Adding too much complexity for a minor feature is not in the plans.

I see that this way has less options than the current one.
For example if a switch is vertical it can never have correctly aligned text.
So I think that by now it stays as it is.
