Hi,

I just found a strange issue.
On one of my computer I'm not able to get the Mcu monitor running in the new version 0.5.16-RC5. On a different PC or an older version (0.5.16-RC3 and older) it works..
It also seem to have influence on other functions like TWI - I'll have a deeper look there.

Hi.

Are RAM, EEPROM and Flash tabs functional?

One thing you can try just to rule out problems with styles:
- Go to: SimulIDE_0.5.16-RC5_Win64/share/simulide/data/config/
- Rename "simulide-disabled.qss" to "simulide.qss"
- Open simulide.
- If the problem persists rename the file to it's original name.

The tabs RAM, EEPROM and Flash show similar behaviour. The "emptiness" only differ in the width of the grey vertical ribbon on the right.
The renaming of simulide-disabled.qss does not change the picture.

I also tried whether the screen resolution could have an effect. The situation is visible with in 1280x1024 and 2736x1824.

The test were always done with an restart of simulide.

This is weird indeed..

Is it the same if you open a circuit in the examples (this loads the firmware)?

The examples show similar behavior, e.g. ...\share\simulide\examples\Pic\ks0108_p18f4550\ks0108_p18f4550.simu :

I can't guess what can be happening, specially when I can't reproduce the issue.

I will try to add some debug messages for next update to see what is happening.

Would be great. I only have seen it on one of my computers. but I'm also not sure where to pull the strings in order to give more insights to the issue Sad

The only thing I can think right now is running simulide from a terminal and see if ther is some error message...

Anyway if something else comes to my mind while I add debug messages I will tell you.
