The property "amplitude" of sine wave generator is the peak-to-peak value and the "base value" should better be the DC offset.
In German literature there is only one usage of "amplitude" (= peak value). It seems that in English literature amplitude can be peak value as well as peak-to-peak value.. Other simulations (spice, falstad) also support this property representation of sine waves.
It's a bit picky, but would support the general representation: u(t) = Û * sin (omega t) + UDC
