When the probe is flashing what does it mean?

When I did a larger circuit (with logic gates , muxes and stuff) and started simulation, the Probe started to flash (changing quickly from 0 to 5V).
What does this generally mean?
Once I added a resistor and it stopped flashing, but after that I restarted the simulation and got flashing Probe again.

Does it mean I have short circuit somewhere?

A probe just shows the voltage at that point.
If it changes that way means that the voltage changes that way.

Which version are you using?

I am using 0.4.15 final

yeah, it shows voltage, but this voltage is jumping too quickly from 0 to 5V, like something wrong is happening.

I tried to run the executable using SSH through remote X11 session, and the flashing stopped. Maybe it is because paint() is going too fast when the app is recalculating voltages on each simulation step ...

I am using 0.4.15 final
Then it cat be related to this:
https://simulide.forumotion.com/t161-tri-state-buffer-not-controlling-outputs

A fixed version 0.4.15-SR1 will be available in a few days.
If the problem persist after the update then we can investigate what is happening.
Or share your circuit so I can test it.

no more flashing with 0.4.16 , so... case closed
