I offer my development: "running text" on seven-segment indicators ...
It turned out cool. The only drawback is that the text is poorly readable (sometimes).
The scheme in the post is suitable for preparing the text:

8 zero bytes are written from the initial address of the ROM, then images of characters forming the text for the indicator. At the end of the text, we insert 8 more zero bytes and the "Stop byte" 0FFh.
