Hello Team,

I have a task to simulate the ATXmega128A1 microcontroller.

I can see that this controller is not available in the simulation.

is it possible to add a new controller? if possible any generic steps would help me.

Ideas would be more welcomed.

Regards
Harish

Hi.

ATXmega core is not implemented, and it has a set of complex peripherals that should be implemented as well.
So it is not easy to add one of these.

Hello,

I have this task to emulate the core on simulide as part of my studies.

could you please suggest some steps to bring up the new core?

Even if we are not able to bring entire full-fledged functionality, at least

I would need uart functioning and CPU functionality for processing instruction and i/o pins for connecting sensors and actuator.

Best regards

I agree, a guide for adding new micros would be amazing. There are lots of details to cover. It is inevitable to miss some and struggle Smile

I'm creating the SimulIDE knowledge base: https://simulide.forumotion.com/t1613-simulide-knowledge-base

Eventually I will add information about this, but as you say there are lots of details to cover, so it will take some time.

In the meanwhile you can ask here if you have any problem.
But in most cases new Microcontrollers require adding new code.
