Circuit not working without reason

Hello,

Now, when I open it again, it just doesn't work correctly anymore. There were no changes on arduino code or circuit itself - it should work as it was.

Apprently, hex and sim1 extensions are not supported so I cannot attach  project and arduino files.

This issue is already solved in development version.

But looks that the solution can't fix the error in some cases.
This is the first case I see, it will be very useful to find a better solution.

I'm thinking in a new solution that can fix these issues and potentially simplify the simulation... if I can make it work.
I will let you know here about any progress in this issue.

I think I have a working solution.
Some testing needed though.

I tested a modified version of your circuit:
Replaced Resistors as Batteries by 10 Farad Capacitors, so it's more dynamic.
And increased the load so capacitors discharge faster.
And I think it's working beautifully:

Not yet.
This is a good simplification that removes some possible sources of errors.
But it is a deep change, that affects quite a few things.
So it needs deep testing before it's ready.

Available in last Tester builds.

I report another example.

This circuit initially worked (triangle waveform output on DAC), but since I switched WE pin from '1' to '0', counter isn't 'counting' anymore.

Reloading the project didn't help.

Anyway, zipped project crashes the program, if simulation is stopped and started again. Pausing the simulation, does not cause crash.

Crash and Tunnel problem solved at Revs 900. 901.

Keypad values shown in lcd are not correct, not sure if it is a firmware issue or what.

I can assure you, that everything is working as planned - except for the crash of the program, of course.

Display did not "react" several times because of delay() call in arduino source code. Arduino was inside delay() while I was clicking keys on keypad.

On the other side, SimulIDE did not crash at all on my "UPS" project, where an LCD was added - it all went well from scratch.



SimulIDE is by far the most usable and useful simulator I have tried. I really hope, that you who made it, are able to enjoy the fruits of your work.

Yes, now hd44780 example (guess a number) is working ok.
Keypad had a problem.

Oh, I see. You meant the keypad crashed the program...

I downloaded latest test build and I confirm - it does not crash after re-start of simulation anymore.
