Hi.
SimulIDE 1.0.0 uses a new MCU simulator.
More devices will be added, atmega8 is very similar to atmega328, so it probably will be added very soon.
The new MCU simulator allows to add new microcontrllores given that the core and perifericals it uses are already implemented.
I think atmega8 perifericals are the same than atmega328, so you could even add it yourself.
