In SimulIDE's prop dialog, a bool property is showed as a checkbox after the property name, which is not consist with most qt apps:

SimulIDE
Suggestion: Show checkbox before the property name in the Prop Dialog Snap315

QT Creator
Suggestion: Show checkbox before the property name in the Prop Dialog Snap217

So should we show props as the normal checkbox+prop name?

Maybe...
For me, the normal checkbox+prop_name looks weird when it is aligned with other prop_name+widget.
It is probably better to use the "normal" way, but I think it is a matter of "taste", and in this case the difference does not lead to confusion.

Maybe other users have an opinion?

When the checkboxes are at the left side, their placement is somehow fixed since it is not affected by the length of their property names (mainly of the longest one).

This is simply how I see it.

Well... the placement is also fixed now, but having more space is an advantage.

For me it looks weird in some cases, but any way I applied the patch at Rev 1877.

You are right.
This is why, in real life, 'almost' nothing can be generalized.
... And, I had to also add, even here, the word 'almost' Smile
