1Bootloader too big??? Empty Bootloader too big??? Fri Jul 14, 2023 3:18 pm

Hello,

I tried to simulate a circuit with an ATmega16 but nothing appears, also the voltmeters are still dead.

The lonely strange message I see is on boot-loader installing:

Warning: PGM End reached at Line 0
Address: 0x3e00 > PMG End: 0x1FF
TODO: Config word ??

It informs me the boot-loader is too big. But I have built it compiling optiboot sources, and the process terminated without errors.

Has someone any idea?

Thank you so much and best regards

Hi.

First: simulide does not support bootloader section in AVRs by now.

About the error, i'm not sure, I'm not familiar with bootloaders.
If you explain briefly what are you doing exactly and share your hex file, maybe I can do something to fix it.
