SimulIDE-R1677_Win32

While the debugger (AVR8 assembly code) is active, the displayed status over the schematic is ‘Running’, no matter if the debugger is running or halted/paused at a breakpoint.

I wonder if it is possible to display ‘Pause’ for example, instead of ‘Running’ when the debugger is paused at a breakpoint.

Thank you.

You are right.
In addition the "Power On/Off" button should be disabled while debugging.

I changed to this, to also differentiate debugging from normal simulation:

Running Status to Pause Status at a Breakpoint Debugp10
Running Status to Pause Status at a Breakpoint Debugs10

Nice work, thank you.

I am afraid that the two new images look now as if they represent a two-state button; to pause or run the debugger.
Is it also a new button (added to the debugger two buttons)?

If it is not, I wonder what the equivalent images of the ones you did could be to look as being of a status only (like 'Running').

Anyway, the way you did it is a good update.

Mousetip for the button is always "Power circuit" now. Should it be changed to "Power On" / "Power Off" according to the simulation status?

Yes, that would be better.
Same for Pause/Resume.

Solved at trunk Rev 1828.
